IN MEMORY

For a mother, sister, daughter, friend, and hero....My mother Angela L. Fontaine.
There are no words that can express the loss in all of our lives. She touched so many people with her laughter, energy, strength, and wisdom. We will forever have a hole in our hearts. Her fight with Breast Cancer lasted over 15 years but she took that battle like a true champion.
Never did she allow the disease to define her and she was able to defy the odds by combining natural holistic medicine along with the standard treatment for her cancer. Everyone has a journey in this life and it was her time to move on to a place with no suffering.
She was survived by her husband, Stewart J. VanDunk, her daughter Michelle Fontaine-Jones, son Andre' L. Fontaine, granddaughters Kayla N. Jones, Amaya L. Fontaine, and grandson Andre' L. Fontaine II. Her siblings Apryl Jones, Nick Horton, Larry Horton, Darrell Horton, Darnell Horton, Brent Horton as well as several nieces and nephews.
When I am gone, release me, let me go.
I have so many things to see and do,
You mustn't tie yourself to me with too many tears,
But be thankful we had so many years.
I gave you my love, and you can only guess
How much you've given me in happiness.
I thank you for the love that you have shown,
But now it is time I traveled on alone.
So grieve for me a while, if grieve you must
Then let your grief be comforted by trust
That it is only for a while that we must part,
So treasure the memories within your heart.
I won't be far away for life goes on.
And if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can't see or touch me, I will be near
And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear
All my love around you soft and clear
And then, when you come this way alone,
I'll greet you with a smile and a "Welcome Home".
